Our Vogel and Weinmann Immigrants from  Plauen, Germany to the United States

This essay began as an attempt to tell the story of brothers Max and Andreas Weinmann who arrived in the United States from Germany in 1924 and 1926 respectively and settled in Detroit, Michigan.  Research led to the broadening of the focus to include the arrival of their uncle and aunt Richard and Martha Vogel more than a decade earlier.
